A number of us attended the Annual Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service, which took place at the front of the Frome Memorial Theatre.
A former Rook Lane Sunday School Teacher, 97 year old Mr Ron Stone, recited the Kohima Epitaph and laid a Wreath on behalf of the Burma Veterans. He served in WW2 in Burma with the Royal Marines.
Jim laid a wreath on behalf of the Royal Army Pay Corps.
Some also attended the Service of Remembrance held in St John’s Church that evening.
